RDB-II : Summer 2007

I am harcore ANTI SPAMMER, specially mails promoting some movie / event but today I feel like breaking this self-imposed guideline.
This weekend I went to a hindi movie called "Summer 2007" and it was big big big surprise. Fast packed movie from a debutant director (Suhain Tatari ) it stars Sikander Kher ( Anupam Kher's son ) , Gul Panag , Ashutosh Rana , Sachin Khedkar . It was a movie with human touch , this movie is about maharashtra farmers' suicide. Whole movie we were tight lipped. Movie starts with a medical college where 5 students are living life in themselves having great fun and then things change and they land up in totally differnet world where living life itself is a challenge. This movie shows how money lenders are creating hell for poor farmers in villages while most of us are talking about DEVELOPED india. Its a MUST watch movie and I feel more and more such honest and story telling movies should be made so that urban youngsters like us who have no time for their country and society, get some (sustained ) inspiration.
Actors did their job wonderfully, Sikander Kher is very promising , so do other new people . Ashutosh Rana is as usual ..great. Also kudos to director for fine-steering of the story. It was almost like RDB-2 !
